VolleyLabs Privacy Policy

VolleyLabs is an app that analyzes videos of your volleyball technique and gives you coaching feedback. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how you can delete it. Questions? Email volleylabsapp@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, or your name and email if you sign in with Google or Apple (Apple may give us a private relay address instead of your real one), and the first name you enter. You can also try the app as a guest without an account.
- Profile answers: what you tell us during setup, such as your age, height, position, skill level, goals and the skills you want to work on.
- Videos you upload: the clip you choose for analysis, and where you marked yourself in it. Clips can show other people, such as teammates; we only analyze the person you mark, but other people may appear in the clip and in the still frames. Only upload clips the people in them are happy to have analyzed (see our Terms of Use).
- Analysis results: your scores, feedback, drills and still frames from key moments of your clip.
- AI coach chat: the messages you send the coach. We do not keep a copy of the conversation on our servers; we keep a short summary of your progress so the coach can remember it. The coach also reads your profile answers and your recent analysis results so its answers fit you.
- Notification token: if you allow notifications, your phone's notification token is sent with each upload so we can tell you when the analysis is ready. We do not store it.
- Subscription status: whether you have VolleyLabs Pro and when it renews. Apple handles payment; we never see your card details.
- Usage counts: how many analyses and coach messages you have used, to apply the plan limits.
We do not use advertising, ad tracking or third-party analytics, and we do not sell your data.
How we use it
- To analyze your videos and show you your scores, feedback and progress.
- To personalize the AI coach to your level and goals.
- To run your account, apply plan limits and provide VolleyLabs Pro.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
Your videos
An uploaded clip is used only to produce your analysis. It is deleted from our storage as soon as the analysis finishes. We keep a few still frames from key moments so you can look back at your results; they are deleted with your account.
Who we share it with
We use these service providers to run VolleyLabs. Each only gets what it needs to do its job:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Uploaded clips are deleted when the analysis finishes. Everything else is kept until you delete your account.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account at any time on the app's Profile tab (Delete account). This permanently deletes your account, profile, analyses, still frames and subscription record. Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription; cancel it in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. You can also email us to ask for a copy of your data or for it to be deleted.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, and your results can only be read by your account. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Age
VolleyLabs is for people aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will also let you know in the app.
