VolleyLabs Terms of Use
Last updated: October 11, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and VolleyLabs ("we", "us") about your use of the VolleyLabs app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
Who can use VolleyLabs
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you may use VolleyLabs only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms on your behalf.
Training safety: not medical advice
VolleyLabs gives AI-generated coaching tips. It is not a coach watching you in person, and it is not medical, physiotherapy or injury advice.
- Feedback is produced by software from a few frames of your video. It can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable for your body, level or injuries.
- Volleyball, jumping and landing carry a real risk of injury. You choose whether and how to follow any tip or drill, and you train at your own risk.
- Warm up, train within your limits and stop if anything hurts. Talk to a doctor or qualified professional before training if you have an injury or a health condition, and whenever you are unsure.
Videos you upload
- Only upload videos you filmed or have the right to use.
- Other people in your video: only upload a clip that shows other people if they (or, for anyone under 18, their parent or guardian) are happy for it to be analyzed. Do not upload clips filmed somewhere filming is not allowed.
- Do not upload anything unlawful, sexual, violent, hateful or unrelated to sport.
- You keep ownership of your videos. You give us permission to process them, and to share them with the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy, only to produce your analysis and run the app.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account).
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app: no attempts to break, overload, reverse-engineer or get around its limits or security, no automated access, and no using the AI coach for anything other than sport and training questions. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Subscriptions
- Paid plans are sold and billed by Apple through your Apple ID. They renew automatically until you cancel in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Each plan includes a set number of analyses per period, shown in the app. Unused analyses do not carry over.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies (reportaproblem.apple.com).
- Deleting your account does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Scores and results
Scores, jump estimates and feedback are estimates for training purposes only. They are not an official rating and should not be relied on for selection, recruiting or any other decision.
Changes and availability
The app is provided as it is and may change, have errors or be unavailable at times. We may change or stop features. If we change these terms, we will update the date above, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app. Using the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows: the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of feedback; and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any injury or loss arising from your training or from relying on the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for VolleyLabs in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50, whichever is greater. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you; nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about these terms or the app will be decided in the state or federal courts located in California, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it somewhere else.
California users: under California Civil Code Section 1789.3, you may contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.
Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support for it, and is not responsible for claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the app must also follow the Apple Media Services usage rules.
